This month they are talking about love due to Valentine's Day. They are highlighting the friends that the children have made. There are 61 children in the Toddler House that live with them.
Julner had his friend Rilinxe (WAY-LEE) write out who his 3 best friends were and why he likes them. Rilinxe is one of the oldest boys at the Toddler House and is a role model for many of the younger children. Julner told Rilinxe what he wanted to write in Creole and Rilinxe translated and wrote it out in English for Julner. Attached to this email you will find 2 pages that Rilinxe helped Julner write and then Julner decorated them. It is fun to see what the kids have to say about their friends in their own words. Jean Moliere, Wanderson, Widley are all around 6 years old. They are all in the same care group and Jean Moliere and Widley are also in Julner’s class. These boys love to spend their free time running around the Toddler House yard and joking around with one another before bedtime.
