What to do while waiting

Waiting is hard, so during this time we decided that it would be a great idea to go seem MINNIE--the mouse that is.  It was a glorious, exhausting vacation.   The kids were the perfect ages to go.  We had a great time as a party of 5, but all of us talked about how fun it will be to bring the additional 3 with us.  They are never far from our minds.  "We will all have riding partners the next time," was the comment most often verbalized.
My how our princess has grown.  This time at Disney there were no princess costumes to be worn, no excitement over meeting Mickey, and no photos to be taken with Cinderella.  I look forward to enjoying that again with Julena.  We have scouted out all of the Princess Tiana gear and know that Julena will look lovely in the  princess attire.
All was not lost though,  I did get her to wear a Mickey hat--due to the chilly weather and her insistence on wearing shorts"because you only wear shorts in Florida" mentality.  Jack totally took to the Mickey Sorcerer look, and you couldn't  Sam not to wear Agent P attire.

We were all sad to leave, but also excited to sleep in our own beds.  We left knowing that our travels will take us to Haiti next to meet the rest of our family.  There is so much more to share, but for now as most of you know--Disney is a quest to be conquered which we did .  But you end up coming home more tired than when you left.
